Eagle, CO Map
This historic county seat is reminiscent of the 'good ole days.' Cowboys still ride and ranch here, blending with the neighborhoods that have expanded to provide housing for young families and employees in Vail and Beaver Creek. A new variety of ranch, one with golfers instead of wranglers, Eagle Ranch fills the entrance t the Brush Creek Valley just south of town. Eagle's downtown is compact with a traditional main street that is currently being renovated. The climate is milder at this lower elevation of 6600 feet, crating a fine environment for colorful flowers and vegetable gardens. When one thinks of rodeos, 4-H and the pleasures of small tow living, Eagle comes to mind.
